Review Week 5

In this design, it is a heart made of smaller hearts within it. The designer is emphasizing hearts and it can represent love. A viewer can tell that the designer wanted you to see a heart and maybe feel the "love" with all the inner hearts in it. The design is also red and red reminds people of Valentine's Day. This is a shape design because it utilizes the element of shape to get its point across to the audience.

This design is made of multiple colored lines that are also curved to specific directions. The designer is trying to show a smooth flow to somewhere that seems to be very bright and moving to a viewer. This a line design because the designer utilizes lines to help his or her image. The diagonal lines can symbolize turbulence and the curves lines show a smooth journey. The colors also enhance this image because they are very bright and symbolize a happy flow.

In this design, the designer tried to use texture to portray the image of water droplets in the sky. It has a dark background that can symbolize the dark sky during a thunderstorm, especially because the dark background also has a cloud-like feel. This is a texture design because the designer utilizes the texture of water and clouds to portray an image that reminds you of a storm.

In this design, the designer uses space to give the viewer a puzzling maze-like image. It gives you a sense of losing yourself in it because there are multiple areas where there is blank space but there are also places where there are shapes. Your eyes could land anywhere on the design and feel lost. This is a space design because the designer utilizes the element of space to help emphasize his maze picture. He/she spaces everything out evenly.

In this design, the designer uses value to help show you that his/her design is not just a circle, but a sphere. It uses the darker colors more towards the bottom left of the design and the lighter colors towards the upper left. It symbolizes the shadows of a regular sphere when it is shown against a light--but it uses different colors to represent it. It is like a ball of fun. :)
