Shepard Fairey
-contemporary artist
-Born February 15, 1970 in Charleston, South Carolina
-Legal Name: Frank Shepard Fairey
-Fell in love with making art at the age of 14
-Graduated from Idyllwild School of Music and the Arts in Idyllwild, CA in 1988
-Accepted into the Rhode Island School of Design and graduated in 1992 with a B.F.A. in Illustration
-Now works as a fine artist and advertising designer, with a gallery in Los Angeles and business ventures that dip into publishing, fashion and urban sports (skateboarding)
-Best known for Obey, in 1992 and HOPE, in 2008

INSPiRATiON
Focal point is the alcohol. I liked this one because it was very unique and gets the message of how alcohol brings people down. I will probably use the alcohol as my focal point as well.
Many alcohol abuse messages have a silhouette of a--usually stressed-- person. I will probably find a picture of a stressed person. It could also show you what happens when you drink a lot. A picture of a person who abuses alcohol could also work.
The picture above is someone who is abusing alcohol AND smoking. Alcohol can lead you to bad decisions. I just like the lighting of this picture.
This picture above has a play on the picture and the letter A. An alcohol bottle is "hidden" into the inside of the A. It's clever for a logo.
This has a lot of words that relate to alcohol/alcohol abuse that i could use
